FCNL’s legislative priorities are shaped by the feedback they receive from local Friends meetings and groups. These early months of 2022 are one of the periodic opportunities when feedback is being enthusiastically solicited from ALL Friends who wish to participate. We in IFCL are availing ourselves of this opportunity. How about you and your local meeting? FCNL needs and values YOUR feedback. FCNL Quaker Outreach Coordinator, Bobby Trice, is looking for more Friends who might like to volunteer for the Visiting Friends Program. For the next two months, Visiting Friends will focus on encouraging and/or assisting local Quaker meetings/groups to support their participation in FCNL legislative priorities process. Thereafter, the emphasis will be more general intervisitation with meetings on behalf of FCNL. I’m currently the only Indiana volunteer, and we think that there surely must be others who might engage. Bobby can be contacted at rtrice@fcnl.org or (202) 903-2502.
