Diana Hadley, IFCL Clerk, presents an IFCL “Legislator of the Year” award to Senator Ron Alting, R-Lafayette.
IFCL appreciated Senator Alting’s willingness to sponsor a climate bill encouraged by West Lafayette High School students. Although the bill did not pass, a version of it will be introduced again in 2023, and IFCL will support it.
Senator Alting joined an IFCL Zoom meeting to discuss additional issues that he and IFCL could support for 2023. As the session nears, information will be shared regarding mutual interests.
